Left Behind

There are some who have been in power who are having a hard time sharing power with those who have historically not shared in that power. 

Left Behind is a conceptual project that puts men in the position of object and women in the position of subject in a way that has historically been explored the other way. 

Using men's bodies as a tool - a method to obscure, as negative space, the object left behind is an outline of where they were, but where they no longer are. 

This project seeks to start a dialogue about the changing roles of men and women, of sex and gender and the struggles through artistic expression and personal experience.
